Campion Mondial la proba de şosea şi vicecampion la proba de contratimp, Italia, 2009; De ce fac sport sau ce înseamnă sportul pentru mine? Sportul mă definește, mă determină să-mi depășesc orice limită. Prin sport am aflat ce înseamnă curajul, speranța, ambiția și necesitatea de a o lua de la capăt, fără a uita vreo secundă de planurile de viitor și de visurile pe care doream să mi le îndeplinesc. O mare dorință, care s-a și realizat, a fost să devin primul campion paralimpic român. Fac sport pentru că nu pot să-mi imaginez viața altfel, pentru că mă împlinește și mă face să devin mai bun zi de zi.
